Simulation is a computer aid designer tool for road networks which can deal with large networks and large amount of traffic flow.

We were asked to test the widening of a ring road. Along this 4 mile itinerary, there are 6 flyovers.
We simulated 2 geometrical variants along this large network with heavy traffic (about 80,000 vehicles a day) :

		widening to 2 x 3 lanes
		widening to 2 x 2 lanes + collector roads
