We were asked to test the repercussions of the closure of a highway in August 2000.
Along an itinerary of about 3 miles, all the highway traffic had to be transferred from tunnels to the surface on a secondarary road with six successive crossroads.
With simulation, we set the temporary layout, the programming of traffic lights, and the local traffic diversion. Our recommendations, set up when the tunnels were closed in August 2000, were efficient and highly successful.
